Casilda Mut

We are a fashion company dedicated to promoting the creative and social development of women artisans from the Highlands of Chiapas. For us, fashion is a means to generate economic and sociocultural impact.

Our journey began in 2010 under the name Lacompré when Clayre Coello started experimenting with the integration of craftsmanship into fashion design. Since 2017, we have continued our path as Casilda Mut.

WHO IS CASILDA MUT?

Casilda Mut is all of us.

CASILDA is the name of the woman who represents us; MUT means "bird" in Tzotzil, the native language of the Highlands of Chiapas.

CASILDA MUT embodies the natural, instinctive, untamed, unique, and free woman—a woman who is conscious and seeks positive meaning in the way she lives and dresses.
